Swan upgrade

I once believed that the early bird...you know. But I was wrong. My August trip, planned and keeping me going since January, has just been revamped!! Thanks to these boards and my wonderful agent at Dreams, our teacher/nurse discount has been bettered by a late season offer by Swan/Dolphin. We are rebooked at an even better rate than we had felt "lucky" to get. The $$ savings are minimal in terms of cash...but the "magic" is priceless. We will gain a "free" upgrade and a late check out on our final day. These two extras have just made my day! Since our final day is a travel day, 5:30 flight, we will benefit from the use of the hotel pool and our room until we are actually ready to catch our airport transportation to destination #2...Key West. This will make the day less of a travel waste. We couldn't be happier!
This is our first "deal." We secured it on our 19th wedding anniversary, so I'll call it our gift from "Disney." Lucky us!

Congrats Chazorme!
I received the same thing so my magic is already beginning! I had gotten a great AAA rate so we decided to go club level and then this new special had come up so I'm saving even more.
I also have a 5:30 flight on my last day. We're leaving on Aug. 20, when are you? We will be there from Aug. 10 to Aug. 20.
My husband and I are also celebrating our 25th wedding anniv. so far this is working so well.

I see the Swan and Dolphin discounts that are out and they are sure tempting! We had about the same deal about a year ago...it was well worth it! We have since bought DVC, so we take a pass on deals like these, but I can tell you they sure tempt me!!!

I would have done the same thing but the promotion runs just after we are staying. I going to ask for an upgrade when we check in and hope for the best.

When are you arriving?
I am getting a multiple rate because the promotion doesn't start until Aug. 13 and I am arriving on Aug. 10 so for 3 nights I'm paying my original rate and then for 7 nights the promotional rate.

DisneyFan4 and chazorme~ I hope you enjoy your S/D stay as much as I do! We just returned from our third stay in 3 years. I am back barely 24 hours and I am longing to go back! We book in on the teacher rate and have received awesome upgrades all 3x. This trip we were at the Dolphin and we had an Epcot view / balcony room. Spaceship Earth was dead center as we sat on our balcony watching Illuminations!
