I know there has been lots of talk regarding the waiving of the resort fee, & I thought I would let people know my experience.
On Sat. I made my ressies for 5/11-5/17 at the Swan & explained I wouldn't need the health club(walking at WDW is enough!), wouldn't have time to use the internet, don't drink coffee, & if I wanted to read the paper I would purchase it at a better price. The CM I spoke with said no problem, please remind them during check-in. I called back today, to give them my SPG member #, & again asked about the resort fee. Two CM's told me no problem it would be waived, & they noted it in the system.
I hope this helps everyone. Since they have a toll free #, call & verify that your ressie has it noted to waive it, & if at check-in there is a problem make a stink about it.
