swan reservation in sisters name but I have the gold starwood...help

My sister is a teacher and two rooms are reserved in her name.
I am staying in the other room. I have spg gold and would like to use this status/points to get club level.
Do I need to have my name on the ressie? Or can I just be paying with my credit card?
Does my sister need to have the ressie in her name for teachers rate or can she just check-in with me and show her credentials?

I booked 2 rooms on the teacher rate - one for my brother's family. When we checked in the CM gave my brother the choice to pay for the room on his credit card or I could put both on mine and he would pay me later. Since he is not a spg member, I paid for both to get full points for 2 rooms. I would imagine that when you check in you could then pay yourself and receive the points.
