Swan or Wilderness Lodge?

OMG I did not think anyone else did! My kids ASK to go back to the Swan pool over SAB! They were disappointed that we are doing Beach Club over Swan this year lol. They love the waterfall, the slide and "all the different pools" lolol

It’s so much more chill, there’s always plenty of chairs no matter how busy it is and no hogs, and ordering food and drinks with the QR code is so nice (plus their pool food is so much better than Hurricane Hanna).

Did a split stay both resorts last week. WL was Disney. Swan made be sad like I didn’t feel the magic. However once I got outside then I loved the vacation.

I got AP discount on both and would be willing to pay the extra for WL. Mainly because I go to MK every day at least a bit. I also enjoy the theming. Swan lobby just is too boring for me.

Also fromS&D your bus goes to TTC not MK which is a bit annoying.

Lastly not being able to charge your meals etc with your MB is a convenience I do prefer. At Swan I had to remember to bring a credit card or cash with me when I left the room.

My swan room was fine overall. Beds were nice and bathroom was roomy but the tiny upper window? Not a fan.

Just got back from WL and it sounds perfect for what you are looking for. We would have a super busy parks itinerary one day and then the next day we would wake up, grab a cup of coffee, and sit by a relaxing fire like we were at home. Later on our rest day we would take a beautiful boat ride over to MK and hop on the monorail loop for some shopping and food. It was wonderful, relaxing and peaceful within the Disney vibe.
