Swan or Dolphin and WHY?

I am seriously thinking of staying at one of these for 3 nights th week of Thanksgiving. Which resort do you like and why. WE have three kids and Swan has the smaller rooms...by 20 sqf. We would have to get a rollaway..and according to their web site..for some odd reason....at Swan they dont' charge you extra for a child rollaway...they list it as rollaway and child rollaway...and the reg. rollaway list 25.00 but at Dolphin it list both as a 25.00 charge. Anyway.....just curious....thanks

I personally find the Dolphin a tad more convienent to Tubbi's & the Grotto. I guess it all depends on where in the resort your room is tho. We've always been close to both.
I love both resorts tho & you can't go wrong with either one.

I agree. With the kids, it will be better to stay at the Dolphin. Tubbi's is right downstairs, and I think it's a little closer to the pool too. To me, the Swan seems like a little quieter atmosphere.

I like both the Swan and the Dolphin. It's a little easier to get around at the Swan because the hotel is smaller. We actually were able to get to Tubbi's and the grotto pool quicker from our room at the Swan than from our room on the East Wing of the Dolphin. The Swan bathroom is bigger and I like the room layout a little better than the Dolphin's. The lobby at the Dolphin is much more impressive if that's important to you. You might want to call the Dolphin and see if they will charge you for a child rollaway. If so, then go for the Swan.

I'm pretty sure with 3 kids, you'll need to stay at the Dolphin.

Either way you can't go wrong! Great pool, near the Boardwalk, walk to Epcot, boat to MGM....

Yeah with 3 kids = Dolphin unless you get a suite. We have debated over Dolphin v CR many times and were going to go with CR until found out the renovations were not due to finish by our stay, so we have booked Dolphin for the proximity to Epcot. IMHO it wil be better for kids there because of Tubbis and Fountain food places.

I have to cast another vote for the Dolphin! This is my kids favorite hotel.

We have stayed at all of the deluxes - and they all ask to go back to the Dolphin.

The proximity to the pools and having Tubbi's right there (we used it almost every day for something or another) they also LOVED camp Dolphin. We have done other "kids clubs" and this is their FAVORITE! We just loved it.
