Swan/Dolphin Transportation Question

Can you catch a boat to the Magic Kingdom from the Swan/Dolphin? If not, where will the boats take you? What about transportation to Downtown disney?

The boat will take you to Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, the Boardwalk, & the Yacht & Beach Club resorts. All other places can be reached by bus.

The bus transportation from the Swan was the best we've experienced. We did have some long (30 minutes) waits for the boats a couple of times. It would have been faster to walk.

The Swan/Dolphin is kind of in the middle of MGM and Epcot. If you catch the boat going to MGM that is the first stop. It then turns around and goes back to Swan/Dolphin. If you go in direction of Epcot it goes to the boardwalk, then the Yacht/Beach Club and then to Epcot. They are slooooow boats. Sometimes we would just walk and beat them, but other times we wanted to relax and would hop on.

To get to MK you need to catch a bus or the longer route would be to walk all the way through Epcot to the front, get on the monorail, go to the TTC and transfer to the MK monorail.

Be aware that the bus that services the Swan will also stop at the Dolphin, then the Yacht Club, then the Beach Club, then the Boardwalk, and then go on to the destination. The good news is that you are first off on the way home.

The resorts don't always share a bus. Depends on how busy they are.
I've been there when we've shared a bus with all of the Epcot resorts, with only the Yacht Club and with no one.

Definitely a time of year thing - we only shared a bus with the Dolphin in 8/02. Other people were indicating that they had to share with Y/B a few months earlier. Our bus was always very empty and we only stopped at the Dolphin after we got on.

Okay. I was there a week ago and it was definitely crowded. Last year in November same deal.

In a worst-case scenario (you wait a long time for the bus, the bus stops at several other resorts, etc.), how long will it take to get from the Dolphin to Magic Kingdom?
