Swan/Dolphin ?s

I am hoping to use some Starwood points for a quick trip to S/D 12/3-7. Just a few questions.
How is the transportation to the MK? DoES the bus stop at all epcot resort hotels?
Which hotel is better for young children?
I am new to SPG. Any hints for a beginner?

I've stayed at the Dolphin 4 times and at the Swan once. I'd say the Dolphin is more kid-appealing. Tubbi's Buffeteria and the Dolphin Fountain are there for relatively inexpensive meals, as well as the game room and the laundromat.

The bus transportation to the MK is fine. It often stops at all the Epcot resorts, but not always.

Bus transportation for MK and AK, starts at the Swan and then picks up at the Dolphin. Then they go to other Epcot resorts. We found the transporation to all the parks from the Dolphin to be great.

I don't know-our bus to MK never stopped at the Yacht/Beach. It only went to Swan & Dolphin. Very good service.

Your kids might like the Dolphin better but my 9 year old DD LOVED the Swan. (Although she did ask if maybe next time we could go to the dolphin so we got to try both!). My 18 yr old DS (the engineer to be) liked the architecture, etc.
