Hi there!

I am planning our first visit to WDW for January 2009. We are 3 adults, and think about a room at the Swan or Dolphin.

The room plans of the King size bedrooms show that there is a Sofabed in the room. Is there always a Sofabed in the King size bedrooms?
This would be perfect for us.

I know that the Sofabed can't be a "Heavenly bed" ;) , but are they comfortable for an adult to sleep on?

The Queen/Queen rooms wouldn't work for us, because a Queen size bed seems to be too small for 2 of us.
Or is there the chance to add a rollaway bed to our room? How much would this cost?

Thank you very much for your info, any help is appreciated! :goodvibes

I've been in a king bed room in both the swan and dolphin.

First time, at the Swan, it was just me and my kids. I got the king room since I'm used to a king bed at home, someone always shares with me, then the other could use the sofa sleeper. It worked out fine for my son, who was 9, to sleep on the sofa sleeper. I think it's a double. No, I don't think an adult would be very comfortable on it, unless they're small and light. The Swan says they do not offer rollaways.

I stayed at the Dolphin next time, due to the fact that my friend could get a rollaway for her room (she has 4 kids, and we just went with our kids, left the husbands at home). So she needed to sleep 5 in her room. It was fine for her, 2 double beds for the kids and a rollaway for her. They don't charge if the rollaway is for a child (at least they didn't at that time). My king room was too small to open the sofa sleeper. I had the corner room with 2 balconies, one of them in the curved space, it was pretty cool! So I asked them to remove the sofa and bring me a rollaway. That worked out better. So... this is an option! The rollaways are very comfortable. By the way, I've asked for furniture to be removed from a hotel room before, with no problem. Once at a Ritz, I needed space for my toddler aerobed and had them remove a desk.

Hope this helps.

Thank you, happymommy:thumbsup2.

This helps A LOT.
