Can you put 5 people (parents and 3 kids, 16, 11 & 11) in one room at the Swan or Dolphin? Thanks.

Hi, we did our first family stay at the Swan last August. Me, DH, and 3 kids - 15, 9, and 5. We brought an aero for my teenage son and the two girls shared a queen bed. I was super surprised at how small the room was, though. We had only stayed at the Disney deluxes before at WDW and they are much larger.

We had to move furniture to get the aero to squeeze in, but it worked. We stayed 3 nights at the beginning of a 9 night stay (moved to a Disney deluxe) and there was really NO room for all of our luggage we needed for a stay of that length. I definitely prefer the more room option at the disney deluxes or possibly 2 rooms at S/D. The S/D is very nice, I just don't like the cramped feeling and the lack of space for our luggage and stuff.

Actually we've stayed at some of the WDW deluxes and frequently stay at the S/D. We've found WL and BC rooms to be smaller than S/D rooms. We have brought an aerobed to all and we had to move the table and chairs to set it up at WL and just had enough walking space.

I think there is more room in the S/D--a rollaway or aero can be set up along the window area so it's not in the way. The area long the window/slider is definitely not wide enough at the WL or BC rooms we've been in/

Sure you can by either getting a suite or a rollaway. I know in the suite the couch in the living room area opens up to be a bed.

Yeah, it probably depends on which WDW deluxes. I have mostly stayed at the monorail resorts. They are very much larger than the S/D. I have heard that the WL rooms are on the smaller side. I have no desire to stay there, anyway. It has been years since I stayed at the BC or YC - actually before child number 3!! I had thoughts of staying there again, but maybe not! ;)

Happy planning!
