Swan/Dolphin FL Resident Rates?

I saw on the website that the S/D offers FL resident rates of $139. Sounds like a great deal, but it only said "through 12/24" and since we were looking at January, I called and was told the rate was $219 plus the resort fee, plus parking, plus tax....no thanks.

This was a Monday night during Disney's "value" season. Doesn't $219 seems a little steep? I can actually stay at Beach Club for LESS. What am I missing? Are there better rates than FL res?
