Can anyone tell me if the discount codes have come out for the summer 2007 season yet, and if so, where I could find them?

Wondering about any Teacher's Discounts for August ? Like another poster wrote ,some rates as low as $125/nt. Any ideas. Going approx. Aug 18-24 ,but my dates are somewhat flexable ,if I get a great deal !!! ...Thanks

Isn't there a way to check the teacher's rate at the Swan for some of those summer dates listed on page one? I tried their website, but under special/promotional discounts "teacher" doesn't appear, only govt. employee and few others. I don't want to bother a travel agent since I am only in the beginning stages of planning and I am not ready to book yet.

Is there much theme'ing at the Dolphin? Do you see Characters or feel like you are at WDW?

Here you (WebMasterBob) say that Government would also include foreign Government but when you walk through making a reservation, at the top of the page it says "US Government" with no reference that it includes anything outside this.

I would love to book this but can't take the risk of having to pay rack rates if the discount isn't valid.

Can you clarify??

When I called their reservation line I specifically asked if gov't rate covered Canadian gov't and it she confirmed it does. You just have to show your ID at check in.

OK, so you can't buy the Disney Dining Plan if you stay at the Swan or Dolphin.

We are thinking of staying at the Contemporary for 3 days and then switching to the Swan/Dolphin for 4 days. Is it possible to buy the DDP for 7 days? Or is the DDP only available for the days when you stay at a WDW resort (besides Swan/Dolphin)? That is, would I only be able to buy it for 3 days?

That is my understanding. Since you do not have WDW charging privileges at the S/D your room keys wouldn't function for the dining option.

I have a question about parking and refrigerator use, and a rollaway. I read on all ears that parking is $16 a night plus tax, and refrigerator rental is $12 a day, both plus tax, and phone calls are $1? The rollaway is $25? Is this true? Even with a discounted rate, this sure drives up the price.

Last few times we've stayed there we stayed in the East Wing with a Boardwalk/Epcot view and enjoyed it. Open for suggestions. Also, is the jewelry store still in the lobby area or is it a book store? Our flight doesn't land until 10:45 p.m. so by the time we get to the Dolphin it'll be around 11:30-midnight. Would you call ahead and let them know? Any helpful hints are appreciated.

Just a note to answer a few questions. Parking at the Swan/Dolphin is $10.00 per day. The $16.00 I believe is for valet parking.
Roll-away beds are $25.00 plus tax per night at the Dolphin. Please note the Swan is advertised as only sleeping 4.
You can get a refrigerator and that is $12.00 plus tax per day.
MAgical Express is not available at either the Swan or Dolphin hotels. Please also note that those booking those two hotels do qualify for the Extra Magic daily hours and the use of Disney theme park transportation that comes right to the Hotel.

Hi WF, Not sure where the $125.00 pricing was being seen. That promotion was awhile ago in August and the $199.00 pricing is the current pricing for certain dates in May.

I really want to travel January 2nd-8th and can only stay if we get a discounted rate.

Hi Forevryoung, The Swan Dolphin normally don't release discounts for the next year till somewhere around late July early August. Keep an eye on the DIS home page where we will announce the new discounts.

Hi there...I was looking for a discount for a one night stay at either Swan or Dolphin on Sat. July 21st (we are then transferring over Sunday-Saturday at Beach Club Villas).

The only discount I think I qualify for is Entertainment book...and it is showing about $201 for a night.......any chance I could get something lower? thoughts???

Also..does swan/dolphin offer disney bus transportation....would be going over to Downtown disney that night...but will also have a car if needed.

yeah, it is a page coding issue. That promotion ran in Feb I think, and was the last Swan/Dolphin promo. (I got a week at that rate!)

The new promo changed everything, except the 'mouseover' coding in the HTML (or maybe Java) of the webpage.

I got excited too, thinking I might be able to book the next vacation at the $125 rate. I'm glad I got what I did but quickly realized that $125 wasn't in the cards right now. Just in the mouseover text.
