it is downright frickin cold here!!! we had to scrape frost from our windows this morning! we went and checked out the house...the siding is done and they are finishing up the drywall! they were sanding it all down today. i think they will be doing the texturing monday...i'll post a pic when i feel like getting them from the digital camera...

hubby's making me dinner! tonight is beef stew. it's been cooking in the crock pot for about 7 hours now...tomorrow night, i get homemade chicken and noodle soup! yum!!

i saw the most adorable things at target today. i was strolling through the christmas section and spyed the disney princess ornaments. they have a cinderella castle and a snow white cottage all dolled up for the holidays! they are about $25 each and come with a few little figurines...both were ceramic...i want them so badly!!! they would look absolutely perfect in my new house...but i can't buy them until AFTER we close on the dumb thing...lol

hi teri! very jealous of the fact that you are headed to the house of mouse for the holidays!!

Hi, Teri!!! Don't you want to head over to WDW for a little while before Christmas?? You know, when somebody you might know will be there?

Speaking of WDW and Christmas (we were, weren't we?)---my tickets to MVMCP came today!!!!!!!! We shall be there on the 16th and truly can't wait!

The tickets are so cute---we got three Mickey's and a Goofy. Guess they'll be going into a scrapbook one of these days.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. This is my week-end to work.

Brandie--I fully understand about the cold thingie and the frost...same here.

Yikes pumba! your UMaine Black Bears hockey team went into the weekend ranked #1, but did NOT have a good weekend down here in Mass and NH this weekend......
my BC Eagles beat them 4-1 Friday night, and they played at UNH last night...DH and I went to the game. Maine took an early lead 3-1 in the first FOUR minutes but UNH got one back right away, then exploded in the second period and beat them 6-3.

when it's all said and done, the front door will be a dark blue...and we plan to add matching dark blue shutters around the windows...

I don't remember the floor plan though......in the back, first floor, what room has the three windows together?...is there a wall between that and where the slider is? I just love all the light coming into the living areas!!

ann...the 3 windows together on the first floor are on the back of the family room...that's where we'll have our tv and stuff. the kitchen is right beside that. there's no wall that divides any of that. there's a half wall and that's it...and upstairs, the whole back of the house is the master bedroom/bathroom. we moved the windows in the master bedroom around a little. the two windows on the back were supposed to be side by side, but we pushed them apart so we could center the bed on that wall. and then there was another window on the side of the house that was in the master bedroom that we moved closer to the corner so we had 2 windows on the corner there.

once it's closer to being finished, i'll post pictures of the inside!

Sounds nice Brandie. I want a new house.
I want to move in and get new everything...The only stuff I would take from here is my clothes and jewelry and a few other personal possessions, my "new" (bought from my sister's second house) dining set, the corner TV stand and family entertainment center that DH and I bought unfinished did in the last couple of years, the new Pfaltzgraf dishes that I've been building up my collection of...my photos and luggage...and oh yea, the 'puter!! but basically, as far as old furniture and decor and clutter clutter clutter...it can all be left behind!! I want and need to go furniture shopping and I want and need a new house so I don't have to clean out this one. ...wait...I would have to clean it to move wouldn't I? Darn. I thought I had a good idea goign there for a minute........
Can you tell I'm tired and want to go to bed?

i don't think i posted yesterday!

i'm not a happy camper at the moment. i have been craving chicken and noodles for some time now. i finally got the stuff for DH to make it. he gets everything puts it in the crock pot this morning and we leave for work. today is the one day i have him drop me off here at work...he gets to work, logs in to messenger, sends me an IM..."i think i forgot to plug in the crock pot"... i don't have the car so i can go check...he's too busy to go home and check...cross your fingers that he did plug in the crock pot...
