Yep, he is THAT good!

I will say, that most of his "live" performances come across better than the studio ones...a lot like someone ELSE I know...hmmm... Speaking of live performances, keep your fingers crossed that I manage to get tickets to Barry's A&E Christmas show - I think it's taping in December, but it'll take a lot of fancy footwork in between now and then to get tickets.

Clay Aiken...yea, well he's OK but, give me Paul McCartney any day . I know, my age is showing. But recently I watched a tape of his concert in Moscow that was sort of a domumentary as well as the video of the concert...IHe was rocking out the old Beatles stuff, and his Wings stuff...his band was awesome, and I got choked up at more than one song, especially when he sang "Yesterday" and "Maybe I'm Amazed" . Still VERY cute and so down to earth and what a show. Anyway, never mind, I'm rambling...

Went to get DD's senior pictures... they came out SO well. Right now she is watching the "Gilmore Girls"...that show cracks me up....but DD says "Mom, you're no Lorelie Gilmore" darn and here I thought I was a pretty cool mom. Oh well. Guess not. LOL

Debbie, tell us about Justin's girlfriend...we won't tell anyone. Is it "serious"? Or is it one of those status things -- "going out" without going anywhere, so she can tell the whole school that she is "going out with Justin" DD still says he is the FUNNIEST kid she ever met. In a good way!

Hi guys - popping in to say hello. I'm chuckling that this has become a sort of DIS Clay Aiken Fan Club thread...we WILL get back to normal...hopefully. Uh...wait a minute, I think my mother thought Barry Manilow was a phase I was going through...when I was TWELVE!!!

glad you got the link alright...i'm weak when it comes to these dumb things!

i made DH go to best buy after work last night. and i used my $5 of monopoly best buy bucks towards the purchase... but to make up for the injustice of forcing poor hubby to actually listen to someone other than def leppard, queen, or megadeath, i had to take him to dinner at buffalo wild wings. he just loved watching me squirm...i had barely gotten the plastic off the dumb cd when we pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant! so all through dinner, he took his sweet time...while i kept asking are you ready to go yet? he would just smile at me...finally we got to the car and i popped in the cd. he reaches over, thinking i'm distracted, hits the FM/AM button...not thinking i would notice! i punched the CD button and clay's voice filled the car.... DH thinks he's just so funny sometimes...so i got to listen to snippets of each song by the time we got home. i liked all that i heard! and then as i was getting ready for work this morning, i popped the cd into the cd player to listen to while i got ready for work. DH comes into the nedroom, figures out what i'm listening to, and says...you just can't wait five minutes, can you? i slugged him and he walked away snickering.

he just doesn't understand...



btw...the cd has now been copied to my hard drive at work...guess what i'm listening to?
