no John...you're not too late for breakfast....there is plenty...except for the Krispy Kremes...I ATE THEM ALL :p

New locale - how cool...and the best part is, I didn't have to move any boxes! :teeth:

TC, didn't you squeeze a bunch of DISers in your car and go for a Krispy Kreme meet this a.m.?? ;)

Deb, thanks for saving me a room with a heavenly bed. I think I'll go take a nap. :)

From doorknobs to mattresses - this group is graduating!! :teeth:

I do seem to remember an entire conversation about pitching mattresses off the balconies (I think it was a couple of threads ago, though).

My SINCEREST apologies...I must right a previous wrong...

HAPPY (BELATED) BIRTHDAY, SHELLIE!!!!!

I woke up this morning and realized I blew it for yesterday. Forgive your aging 2nd mother, would you please??? :(

thanks for the cheesecake ahutton! i'm hoping that it's "carb friendly" ;)

no krispy kremes for me :( they are my enemy right now! but that's ok, cuz i can have cheesecake!! i had cheesecake for breakfast this morning...for real!! it was wonderful!!!

i'm bad about the birthdays around here...so...
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY SHELLIE!!!!

this low carb thing just amazes me. i can have things like cheesecake...as long as it's made with splenda or a sugar free syrup...and it doesn't hurt my weight loss! i've lost about 4 pounds so far. i can eat all sorts of things that are normally high in fat but as long as it's low in carbs, i still seem to lose the weight! it's just cool...i'm only allowed 20 carbs per day right now. soon, i can try 25 carbs a day and if i continue to lose, i can another 5 carbs to that in a few weeks! and i keep adding carbs until i stop losing weight. once that happens, then i have to back down 5 carbs...i'm hoping that i continue to lose on this plan. i want to be skinny before my next trip to WDW!! mickey won't recognize me anymore!! ;)

Uh oh--you won't tell anyone, will you?? :o
Actually, all I really "took" was the picture (and some oatmeal soap) hehehehe

Gail- I remember that thread too :teeth: I do believe it was our fearless founder Poohlovr and corrupt Debbie at the bottom of that one too !

Ahutton! nice to see you! Thanks for the cheesecake!!

Happy b-day Shellie...sorry I missed it!

Brandie...methinks I need to do that carb-cutting more....I do loose when I consistently cut them down or out and increase the walking a little. But darn...I love bread..pasta...potato ....

Missed breakfast....had to run DD's car back to the garage this morning...she very responsibly took it for oil change and state inspection yesterday, (paid for it too!) then last night her driver's side windshield wiper broke...not the blade itself, the back and forth mechanism thingie... Diagnosis from garage just now "loose mechanism--disassembled cleaned and tightened back up-all set for about $30" Funny how this happens within hours of them inspecting it. GRRRRRRRRR!!! I let her take my car (didn't want her to be the one driving without a wiper on a showery day so I took my own life in my hands instead). Too bad it's raining she can't put the top down hehehehe AND she has to work even in the rain today unless it thunders!

have a good afternoon!

Good evening friends. Glad to see DD brought some cheesecake since I missed helping with the move. And Brandie, it is low carb, so help yourself.
Ann, darling picture of Madyson. Don't ya just love grandkids! How's everyone this week?

Hi Mrs Milo!! Did you pick out a room for you and Mr??? ;)

Isn't it great having this endless supply of cyber rooms with custom furnishings and amenities for all our residents and unlimited guests???

I am in a really really really good mood this morning because yesterday I found that one of the really uncomfortable and annoying issues at work is going to be resolved pretty soon. I can't outwardly do a happy dance there yet (it's kind of complicated) so I am doing one here before I leave this morning

:bounce: :bounce:

Happy Thursday to all. :teeth:

morning :)

nothing exciting to report here this morning...DH had a weird conversation with his ex yesterday...very odd. but not a big deal. she contacts him about once every 6 months and she was due to contact somehow...

it was kind of funny though. DH caled his mom last night after work. they talk every now and then and hadn't talked since probably around mother's day or so. anyway, she lives out in california near one of his other sisters. she asked if she could come out here and hide for her next vacation! i guess she normally goes to visit the other siblings in iowa, but they fight over her time when she's there and she hates that. so i guess she wants to come out here where she can relax and have no one fighting over her time. matthew told her it would be a nice escape for her, especially since we'll be in our new house by then. and our community has that summer escape feel to it with the lake, pools, beachy area...so it looks like she'll be here next summer for a bit. matthew's ultimate goal is to get her out here to live anyway. he would like for her to be near for when we start having our own little babies and such. she's great with kids...heaven knows things would be a lot less dramatic for her here as opposed to where she's at now. no more psycho-dramas with any of her other kids!

well, i'm off for now...have a good day!!

good news about your work issues ann!! :Pinkbounc

I get the feeling Ann would like to hum "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" at work today, but can't. ;) Great picture of Bubble Boy and Bubble Baby. :)

Ahutton and Mrs. Milo - say hi to Mr. Milo from us, and tell him to get his pooping plane over here! ;)

Good morning cheerleaders, old friends, new, visitors, etc. etc.

I am so stressed
I'm suppose to be getting my test and biopsy results today from the test I had 2 weeks ago.....they told me to call today and gave me the number to call. I spent half the morning trying to call and just getting a machine....finally I get thru and I'm told I have the wrong extension and she gives me the right one....so I call the right one and I'm told I have to call back after 1:00 so I wait till 1:05 and I call and I'm told I'll be called back between patients
Its 2:30 I'm still waiting. I did great waiting the whole 2 weeks and not stressing too much but this day has done me in

Aww, Debbie!!!
---let us know what happens...we're sending P and PD and ((hugs))

Cookie---It's more like "ding dong the warlock is dead" ;) hehehe
One of the two witches had a house drop a couple of weeks ago, but the one that's left we can deal with easily enough now that her 2 counterparts will be gone gone gone :teeth:

finally at 5:05 I get my call

BUT I feel great now.....all good news...negatives on the biopsy :teeth: My gastritis is being caused by something that i'm taking so its a matter of illiminating one med at a time. But the first and most likely cause is motrin or allegra

But I'm so relieved...thanks for the P & PD :)

Glad to hear the good news Deb :teeth:

DD's doc said HER tummy aches are gastritis too (probably stress-related) and put her on prilosec for a month and suggests she get some professional short-term adolescent stress management asssistance. My extended family needs a group rate on mental health care ;)

Hi Christine...we're all fine.....
except maybe we're in need of some stress management ;)
my family too Ann

and look Christine ....I saved you the purple room :teeth:
