If we stayed at the Swan or Dolphin where to we get the Monorail at Epcot? How far is the walk? and Can we walk through Epcot to our hotel if the park is closed? (if we stay for a late show or dinner)...Thanks

Not sure where you want to go or do -

The Swan & Dolphin have direct bus service to the MK, AK and DD. You can walk or boat to either the Studios or EPCOT. You don't need to take the monorail to the MK - in fact,

Specifically, if you stay at either the Swan or the Dolphin, you can walk to EPCOT (nice path, takes about 10 minutes) or you can take a boat (takes about 15 -20 minutes). In both cases, you would enter EPCOT via the International Gateway. That's between the England and France Pavillions in the World Showcase.

The monorail stop is near the front entrance of EPCOT (Future World potion of the park). You can walk through EPCOT to get to the monorail, but you will need park admission to do so. You cannot walk through EPCOT after the park is closed, so the monrail may not be an option if you plan to return later in the evening.

The monorail goes to the TTC (Ticket & Transportation Center). From there you can change to the MK monorail or MK ferry if you are going to the MK or to the resort monorail if you are going to one of the MK resorts.

Hope I haven't confused you. Ask another question if you need more/different/specific information.

I would guess a brisk 20 to 25 minutes would get you from S/D to the Epcot monorail station provided you didn't have to buck the crowds. You'd enter WS through the International Gateway and head for FW where the 'rail stops.

Parks stay 'open' for an hour or more after the last attraction closes. I wouldn't plan on hiking from the 'rail to S/D much later than that although we've never tried this and others may have better info. Personally, I'd take a bus home at that hour, there are a lot more of them than there are monorail cars.
