Swan/Dolphin and MDE

Is there any real advantage to linking your S/D reservation to MDE? It just seems like an extra hassle with no real upside - except to Disney, which gets to track offsite occupancy. However, I’ve seen people mention it so perhaps I’m missing something? Thanks.

It will allow you to book dining reservations for your entire stay at the 60-day pre-check-in mark.

Got it, thanks! Since we generally don’t worry too much about ADR’s (no little kids so less need to have a fixed meal time, plus have a car so sometimes just go offsite for a good meal at real world prices), I hadn’t thought about the ADRs. There is also great lounge/restaurant dining at swan dolphin through opentable. But good to know about the availability to make those 60 day ADR’s if desired.

Once they start the 30 minute Early Entry for on-site guests, you would need your resort linked for that. But that perk hasn't started yet.

Yes. Making ADRs is unrelated to park tickets.

The rules state Swolphin needs to be linked in MDE to get free park parking, but I just flashed my room card.
