I've seen posts about certain restaurants at the Swan/Dolphin (BlueZoo, Shula's, Garden Grove, Il Mulino) being available on Restaurant.com. However, when I search for them there, I can't find them! I'm using the zip code 32830. Can anyone help?

Apparently they are no longer offering the certificates for these restaurants. Doesn't mean they won't offer them again in the future, but there aren't any right now.

Stinks, doesn't it? :sad2:

I've noticed this to be the case for about the last 6 weeks (but it could have been longer). I was planning on purchasing an Il Mulino certificate when they ran one of those 80%-90% off specials.

I'm not holding out much hope about them getting added again either because I noticed that other Shula's locations are on there, just not the Dolphin's. I hope I'm wrong, though.

I wouldn't be surprised if they started participating hoping to bring in locals & didn't anticipate the number of visitors that would purchase them. I would think most people using restaurant.com certificates use them locally. Some use them on vacation, but it wouldn't be close to the volume they probably saw thanks to Disney message boards. They should have anticipated that, but we all know managers don't always think things through. It was a nice deal for those who got in on it. It may return, but they'll probably need to get desperate for patrons first.

I didn't know they were not on restaurant.com anymore. Are they still accepting the certificates?

I purchased one last year and we decided not to go to the restaurant. I was hoping to use it for my upcoming trip. Has anyone been told they don't take them anymore?

Ah HA! That's why I didn't see one for Shulas. I was trying to find one a few months ago but couldn't find it and I thought it was just my user error.

I used one at Il Mulino at christmas this year. We love that restaurant...I still got the $25 one for $3..well worth it. I actually have another one, I beleive they still have toaccept ones that have been purchased. I won't be back until next xmas week....Sorry they have stopped the program.

I've been looking for them as well.

They are non-expiring,and will say so right on the front.....for those that have them at home waiting to be used. I've got 2 for HoB that I'm planning to use this summer....bought them last Feb.

I would call in advance, if you plan to use a certificate. I don't think they have to accept them. As a matter of fact, I've heard of many people having restaurants refuse them. I haven't heard of it happening at Il Mulino specifically, but have heard it for other restaurants. If they won't accept it, restaurant.com will allow you to exchange it for a restaurant they currently have available. If you tell them you don't want another restaurant, they'll usually refund your money.

I'm not really concerned....I got them at 90% off, so they cost me $1 each. It does say in rather large letters that they never expire....right in the center of the certificate. However, we would only be going to HoB to be able to save a little...it's not really a big favourite. If they won't take it we would just go someplace else....lots to choose from at DTD.

Thanks for the info :thumbsup2

Just used one for Garden Grove earlier this month. They don't expire, but I know I've gotten e-mails from Restaurant.com when a restaurant doesn't participate and I've purchased a certificate. You just go and select another restaurant to replace the certificate if a site opts out of the program.
