Swan and Dolphin guests - how does FP+ work for them?

How does the Fastpass plus system work for these guests? Also, the Fast Pass for BOG lunch? Thanks, Beachfan 10 weeks and counting!

I don't think you can use FP+ if you stay there. They do have a FP kiosk in the lobby.

and was told we will be treated like off-property guests and can only make FP+s for that day in the park.

The gentleman kept saying how we have all the other on-site privileges just not the FP+s.

It is a major bummer

Count me in as being disappointed that S/D guests can't pre-book FP+ attractions and have to wait the day they enter the parks!

Before the paper FP machines were taken out, Swan and Dolphin guests were able to make same day FP+ reservations in the park, at least at Epcot. They were the test for the same day FP+ system that is now available to all offsite guests.

To me, that is a clue that S/D guests may be the first to test advanced FP+ reservations for guests at non Disney owned resorts. I wouldn't be surprised if that happens in the next few months, but we will see. I wouldn't expect it in time for the OP's trip in 10 weeks.

FYI: There is no FP+ Kiosk in the S&D lobby. This was a rumor but it did not happen as of yet.

The S&D has been disappointing me of late. I used to use valet parking, but between the valet parking and the resort fee, this adds $43 per day to my room fee. Availability seems to be less and prices keep going up. I have a reservation in June- used to be able to book an executive suite in its entirety with Starpoints, now they are making me pay cash for part of the room. Now FP+. I have a one day booking for the BC and hopefully I will be able to score FP+ for my entire stay; if not, I may cancel.

No worries. I feel the same way about FP+ and the S/D. I'm sad that I'm not staying there anymore unless the situation changes, and I'm afraid that it probably isn't going to.

I think on the resorts board on the S/D thread they said S/D guest use the regular FP+ machines in the parks and can make same day FP+

I think it is more sad that our heros and their families that stay at Shades of Green do not have the option to prebook. If they start to add offsite and Shades is not the first ones they test, it will be a shame.
