SWA vacations vs. Visa offer

Southwest vacations has a package out today that includes free Water Park & More upgrades to a park hopper pass. I put in my dates and came up with a pretty good deal. The email I got from Disney Rewards said the upgrade was available "For stays most Sunday-Thursday nights 3/30 - 5/21/08." Since the first day of our May trip is a Friday, I didn't consider the Visa offer. But I was able to enter my weekend-spanning date on the Southwest site and the offer was valid. Was anybody on the board able to book the Visa offer for weekend dates?

If I'm understanding your question correctly, we were able to book 5/17-5/24 using the Visa and got the same rate all the way through.

My understanding from reading the postings and my experience was that the $512 price quoted in the advertising was for Sunday-Thursday. You could use the code for any day of the week, but the price would change for a weekend booking. My dates covered a weekend and i could use the code. Disney was just using those days with that price as an example.

Thanks, that is what I meant. I was trying to read something into that Sunday through Thursday statement that wasn't intended. After much consideration and waffling, I think I'm better off with my AAA discount. I initially thought this was my best discount and if I don't stop second guessing myself I'm going to drive myself
