When will Southwest open their schedule for flights after the end of September 2012?

On February 20, they'll open their schedule for dates through November 2. To find this information on their website, go to the bottom of the home page under Customer Service and select Travel Tools.

I'm just waiting for December flights...

I need Oct 27th-Nov 3rd. When the new dates come out, I'd be able to book my flight to MCO, but not the one for coming back home. I have Spirit booked for my upcoming May and Sept trips, but still need airfare for my Oct/Nov trip and was thinking about trying Southwest for the first time if the price is right.

I am hoping to get r/t on SW for about $320. How sad it THAT? Used to be able to go r/t non-stop on American for $215. Of course we see how that turned out for them.

When Air Tran was still around, the standard airfare from DFW to MCO was $220.00. We frequently grabbed it when it was $158.00-$198.00. Since Air Tran left this past Nov airfare out of Dallas has been hovering over $400.00, so more than doubled in the last few months. Starting in March, Spirit is opening up a nonstop flight from DFW to MCO. I have them booked for $148.00 for my May and Sept trips, but due to their poor reviews and the fact that they've already made a major time change to my May trip, I'm leery of booking them for my Oct/Nov trip and wished I hadn't booked them for the other two trips.

$329. I didn't book. I mean, how much higher can it go if I wait? Heck, I can fly non-stop on American for $470. I just realized it is asinine to be all in a twist about flights EIGHT MONTHS ahead of time. If the fares are too insane we just won't go in October. Problem solved.
