SWA-Printing boarding pass with EBCI?

I have never flown SWA before so I am a bit confused about this. I purchased the EBCI both ways for my upcoming trip. I understand that I am automatically checked in at the 36 hr mark and that I don't have to worry about checking myself in, I just have to print my boarding passes. My question is how do I just print the boarding passes without checking in also? On SWA's website there is no option to print a boarding pass without also "checking in" unless I am missing something. I am afraid if I go through the process of checking in it will somehow change my EBCI that I paid for to a later time. Can anyone shed some light on the process for me? Thanks in advance.

When you get to the airport and check bags they can print them out for you. Or if you only have carry on you can print them out at the kiosks they have. Or if you want to print them at home just do the checkin process at 24 hours or less and it will let you print them out. It won't change your order

Ok, thanks. I just thought maybe I wasn't supposed to do the "check-in" part, but it appears that I have to do this in order to print the boarding pass. I thought about just waiting to do it at the airport, but then I wouldn't know what boarding position I got until right before we leave. Not that it would make too much difference, but I would just like to know as soon as I can.

If you did want to know what position you had you could still check at home and know and have them printed out at the Airport

EarlyBird Check-In Customers will have their boarding passes reserved beginning 36 hours prior to their flight's scheduled departure time. Boarding Passes can be printed beginning 24 hours prior to the flight's scheduled local departure time.

I haven't flown SW recently enough to give you the exact info, and I haven't used earlybird, but when you've done the checkin process there's a way to go back and print later, or reprint if you need, and that does NOT mess up your earlier checkin. So I extrapolate from that that there will be a way for you to get in to print your pass once you're inside the 24 hours, without changing anything.

I personally like printing boarding passes at the airport, because they are so official-looking. :) I do that for all airlines. :3dglasses

Thanks for the responses. I will cross this off my list of things to worry about before we leave! I think I will do as suggested and check to see what my boarding position will be at home and then print it out at the airport.

You can also have the CM at the front desk at your resort print the boarding pass for you. That's what we do. They can do it beginning 24 hours before your flight.

How could you checking in at 24 hours affect your EBCI? It will have already checked you in at 36 hours. Just check in at home at 24 hours and print your boarding passes there. All airlines allow you to reprint boarding passes as often as you want.
