Checked this am, finally the 1st NS flight of the day on Saturday 10/1 dropped approx $70 pp on my res
.
I had credits to use, "only" cost another $30 pp vs existing res to TPA, which i changed pronto!
Final cost of flight down is approx now $170 one way which is $40 more than what i paid the same time frame last year. I was able to originally book a reward flight back home on AT for myself & only paid $115 for DH's tix, so it didn't work out too bad afterall.
jmho, SWA appears to be 'challenging the market' in PIT with intial high fares this year. Will be interesting to see what happens once the AT merger is complete.
