I actually got tickets to this as it showed up on my facebook from another Disney site shortly after it was announced...I signed up because I'm interested in what it is exactly they are having the party for, especially since I'm a fan of both Disney and Southwest.

Very cool party! We checked in at the food court because Florida weather was a little too chilly 58, but was a heat wave for us!! Anyhow, once checked in they gave us $25.00 Disney gift card one for each guest and a wireless computer gift set one for each guest. Thank you Southwest for the great gifts! They also had pastry and juices and coffee. They had an island band playing music and then you could check out the family suite and regular standard room at the All Star Music hotel. It was a nice treat for our family and glad we were here to attend!!

there was also a performance by David, the rapping Southwest flight attendant that was popular on youtube awhile back...first he did part of his safety spiel, then asked people to come over and talk to him and after a about 20 minutes he came back and did a Disney/Southwest rap incorporating people's name from the crowd...it was pretty good with the short amount of time he had and all the people he worked into it (the line about me was something to the effect of "Now Vance really loves to fly Southwest that's because he's married to a flight attendant" since when I introduced myself I told him my about my wife, who is also a SW FA)

I was expecting some type of lame southwest merchandise as the gift, but as mentioned above it was a really nice gift. They included a wireless mouse, a usb hub, a thumb drive, and a very nice pen. That along with the $25 gift card Disney threw in made it worth the drive over. The breakfast was nothing to brag about, but was still pretty good.

I also go to meet with the head of gift cards and he talked about about all of the new designs and I told him how much I really liked the villian design that I saw at DTD and he seemed very receptive to the feedback and mentioned that there was going to be a new design issued everyday this month, and that you could expect to see the pin/giftcard sets that were in the parks back in December in the parks again soon.
