Southwest is not slow for me, does that make a difference? It BETTER happen today! Does anyone know what time Southwest is on? Pacific, Mountain, Central, Eastern...?
I just checked and Southwest appears to be on Central time, because of this I do not think they will change until after 8am, because group travel does not "open" until 8am. Group travel closes at 6:30pm, so they probably would not change it after that....
In all the yeays I've been using SWA, I've never seen them release a new schedule on the weekend. I'm pretty sure it has always been either on a Tuesday or a Thursday. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll let it go today, but I'm not holding my breath...

SW is not slow here this AM but it was ridiculously slow for awhile last night. I think it was a Roadrunner problem in the Albany, NY area because I tried other sites after SW and they were REALLY slow too.

According to the historical info on "Flyertalk" since March, 2003 they have changed 17 times on a Thursday, 3 times on a Wednesday, once on a Tuesday, never on a Monday AND on October 22, 2004 the schedules were released - it was a Friday!
They just released a new sale that you can buy into through Oct. 3. I don't think they will release until at least the 4th. Sorry, I am waiting on March 14-19, so I am wondering if I will even come out in this next release.
between waiting for the swa schedule to open and the teaser about a special package deal coming up on the mousesavers site i'm ready to go stark raving looney! LOL!
I heard somewhere (flyertalk maybe) that when the current sale says "through end of schedule", that means the new schedule is about to be released. Right now the SW sale says
Travel October 7, 2005 through end of schedule. (We are currently accepting reservations through January 9, 2006.)
So hopefully it will be out soon. Of course, I'm waiting for March/April and I'm fairly sure it won't go that far.

We need March fares! We have never used Southwest before, but all the other airlines are so high for spring break. I really hope we can get a good rate for our trip. I hope when the new dates open they go through to the end of March.
