I don't know if they dropped for anywhere else, but I just rebooked mine. Went from $79 down to $49!

The rate dropped either late Monday or very early Tuesday morning. By 7am on Tuesday my original flight was booked for the $49 but I was able to grab a $49 fare later in the day. There are still a few of the $49 left but they're going quick!!

We couldn't get a cheaper flight down but did for our return flight. We had to leave earlier in the morning but it's worth it since I can apply the difference to a ticket I will buy for August 6th.

What dates are you guys flying? I'm playing around with dates in July and still only finding $79 one way...

I rebooked mine Tuesday morning and saved $60 on the round trip. I did have to change my return flight to the next later one, but I figure that just gives me an extra 2 hours of vacation.

Are you all buying these tickets through a website? I am a little nervous to do that, have you all done it before and I am assuming it all works out right, do they mail them to you? We are going in June to DW, and are from Pittsburgh, I noticed I cant buy tickets till May 4th, any advice?

These fares are found on the Southwest airlines web site (Southwest doesn't book on any of the major web sites other than thier own)
http://www.southwest.com

When you book air fare on a web site, you don't get paper tickets, you get a confirmation page which you print out, and an email confirmation that arrives within about 5 minutes. This process is known as 'electronic ticketing', and is the standard way it's done these days.

I haven't had a paper airplane ticket in about 8 years; I buy from Southwest's web site or from Travelocity (which handles bookings for most of the major airlines). They are perfectly safe and reliable, and much more convenient than waiting for the paper tickets to arrive in the mail if you buy your ticket over the phone.

I'm not sure what you mean by "I cant buy tickets till May 4th". Southwest is currently booking flights up till September, and Travelocity will book even farther in the future.

I'm flying April 30 and May 7th. Good luck!!! :goodvibes

The rate is only good for travel through June 16th so if you're traveling in July, you won't see that fare.
