Has anyone ever left on an earlier flight than they originally booked using a DING fare? If so, was there a fee involved or did you rebook paying the current fare?

TIA, :flower:

Debbie

I'd like to know, too. You might have better luck on the Transportation board.

Are you talking about going standby? I think on the receipt from the Ding it says that the Ding fare is not eligible for standby. I agree with the other poster, you may get a more precise answer from the transportation board.

Southwest's policy (as it was explained to me by one of their counter agents) is that you cannot go standby on another flight unless you have paid full fare. You can purchase a ticket for a different flight then the one you are on by paying the difference in fare.
