I am trying to read through all of these SW posts, but I can't seem to find the question that I'm looking for. I have only flown a few times in my life so please excuse my ignorance. :) I have three children who will be ages 6, 5 and 3 for our trip, none of them have ever flown before. I read that an adult will be able to board with my 3 year old after the "A" passes board. That's great, but what about the rest of us? If my husband boards with my 3 year old, will I also get to board with my 6 & 5 year olds at that same time? If not, are we facing the chance that we could be split up? Or do they still make it a priority to not split families up. I don't really care if my husbands at one end of the plane with my 3 year old and I'm at the other end with my other two, just as long as all three kids are at least with one of us. So can someone explain to me how this works? Thanks :)

You may take the 3yo and the 6yo may tag along with you as opposed to being an unaccompanied minor. Then after a small number of other people have gotten in between, DH takes the 5yo.

I'll let you go searching for the thread titled "Can my 3yo get into Disney with no ticket" to do more research on this subject and formulate your opinions and attitudes. (So called child hoppers are for ages 3-9.)

Megan,
First and foremost, checkin online at the 24 hour mark prior to your flight time. They are predicting the A boarding passes with be fewer, due to recent changes with SW "business select and A-list" passengers having priority for the A's, but try and you may be surprised. Your party may receive A boarding passes and you can all board with the A group. :thumbsup2

Have a great trip.:wizard:

Checkin at the 24 hr mark. The last time I flew SW, even the B group was able to get seats together...sure, they had to go further back but there were seats together.
I wouldn't worry to much. You are not going to be seperated from those kids.

Based on my experience this week:
If you get an A boarding pass you will all board with the A group and definately get seats together. If you get a B boarding pass you can all board with the "family boarding" after the A group. They will allow immediate family to board so Mom/Dad and kids yes, grandma, grandpa and auntie, no they will board with their respective boarding group.

Even with family boarding you will likely get seats together esp toward the rear of the aircraft and worst case is 2 and 3 seats together.

Since they increased the # of A boarding passes from 45 to 60 the few (I read 15) A passes they are holding back are going to affect things at all.
