Is this a good boarding # for SWA?

A19 & A20.

I haven’t flown them in close to 2 years and I think it was different then so I don’t know. I know A group is good but does this mean we will be the 19th and 20th people on the plane or does it mean families, disableds, business class etc will go, and then 18 other people and then us?

Yes, very good.

A1 - 15 is usually reserved for Business Select and hardly ever full

Families with Children now board between the "A" and "B" groups.

I know our flight is sold out so I assume all the available business class seats were purchased.

But still, that is great news! Thanks! I figured we'd get A group w/ early check in but never thought we'd be that close to the front.

maybe, maybe not. Just because the flight was sold out doesn't mean all the business select fares were sold. There are not business class seats just Business Select fares which allow the passenger to board first and they get a free drink coupon along with 2 rewards points per flight. It's possible that the passenger chose a standard fare rather than business select.

We encounter this all the time. There are maybe 1 or 2 "Business Select" passengers and the rest are regular fares. The business select passengers will have A1 & A2 and the next one to board will have A16 or so.

We had similar numbers and in the line up there was an empty space ahead of us then maybe 4 people in the "business select"......so we were on very close to first.... and our flight ended up being very full too.

Two days ago on my way back from Orlando I had A23. There were only a few people in the 1 - 15 group and I was the 11th passenger on the plane. Sat in row 2.
