Posting to say, I am an idiot!

Got the new 50,000 point card, spent $2400 (paid life insurance premiums) and accidentally........ used my old SW card, not the new Premier card!!! ARGHH. I thought I put the old one in the drawer, but I switched them somehow, and ugh I am such a dope.

I had a Southwest card and cancelled it after a year. I can't remember if it was called Premier. I know they will not give you the 50,000 miles again for the same card. What was your old one called? I don't know if I still have it around.

I was able to get two cards and the points!

They told me they have to be different cards. Like one the Premier and one the Plus. I think the one I had before may have been the Premier.

We had Plus cards, me and Jim, each different accounts.

Now we each applied for Premier. I wanted to close the Plus, but now I have to pay off that darn balance.

I will pay my DVC dues, that will get me more than 1/2 way to the $2000.
