OMG!!!

If I had been able to travel PHL to MCO 5/31 and return 6/5, my round trip fare on nonstop flights (at decent times, may I add) would have been $125!!!

Why, oh why do these sales never come along when I can travel

If we went for a week at the end of the month our family could fly from Buffalo, non-stop, round trip for 535. In fact I have an 85 dollar credit. We could do it for 450
With AP's and a good GP or AP discount at a value we could easily do it for under 1200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The end to this story is not a happy one. I just got back last Monday, and we're going in August and taking dd's friend. But WOW I hope this deal helps someone!!

I'm already booked to fly on July 4th. Does anyone know if I can get the travel credit for the now cheaper fare. I have done this before, but I don't see where to put in the code SUMMER to get the cheaper fare. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

We're flying on the 4th too...and I've tried to go in and change the flight to get the cheaper fare, but I don't see where you can put in the code. It's about a $60 savings on the one flight we paid cash for.

Just google Southwest and the very first page that comes up should have a box on the left hand side to put in your dates. There's a spot to enter the code at the bottom of the box. I'll see if I can link it for you.

Ok, I just did it. You have to call Southwest and have them cancel the July 4th flight. Then you go back on the website and rebook it yourself. The CM stayed on the line with me and guided me through it so I did get my credit.

FYI: SUMMER is not the code, the correct code is SUMMER12.
The complete terms are summarized here.
(Some city pairs are exluded, but Orlando is not on the list of excluded cities.) and the link also pre-populates the correct promo code on the Southwest booking page.

Yep. I didn't even know about this promotion until I tried to get on to book a flight. Now the website seems to have crashed.

Yep, can't get on and tried all day - May 22 is our date and we could have added one day to come back on the 30th - now it's not showing up at all, and it won't even process other dates. Oh well....I'm still going!!!!

I had to call SW as we were scheduled on the 6:20 am flight on 7/5 and I could not change to the 6:00 am non stop flight and get the lower price. The SW rep said I had to cancel my outbound flight and it would keep my return flight. I could not do it without cancelling the entire flight. She was able to do it and then I booked using the credit and still have $80 left over!!
