I got an e-mail for an upgrade and early boarding. Question is can I use my about to expire credits for this upgrade? I can't use them at all before JUly.;)

:confused3

For $40 you can now board with the Business Select passengers.

And SW keeps showing those commericals trying to protray themselves as differnet. :rotfl2:

I bolded.
What a waste of money..
And this is earlier than Pre Board....how else will they try to :crowded: squeeze money ??? :rotfl:

and to OP, no, I dont think you actually can use your credits for PreBoard or otherwise, thats usually cash or charge, but worth a try...

I wouldn't pay it but my DH is excited about it. He travels on SWA for work and has occasionally changed his flight less than 24 hours before departure, resulting in a lousy boarding position since most passengers have checked in by that time. He travels with a carry-on and being one of the last to board can mean having to gate check it. For $40 he will be able to exchange his high B position for a low A position with plenty of room in the overhead bins and a seat closer to the front when he needs to make a tight connection.

Assuming you are talking about the $40 boarding position upgrade, if it's offered on your flight the Gate Agent will make an announcement 45 minutes or less before boarding. You pay with a credit card.
