We are currently going to DW in September, I know rates are out yet for SW and not sure when they will be, but I have a different question.

Right now, starting June 8, SW has a flight leaving CHM at 6 am, what are the odds this will change and not be available in September? I know it will be a guessing game, but just wondering if this is something the happens often, flights only being offered for the summer?

Times typically do change. They can also be different by day of the week. SW is also in the process of integrating AirTran with every new release, which can throw the schedules off.

I am hoping they release SW Flights in DAY to MCO by the time we can book, so far nothing.

I've noticed that September schedules tend to see a decrease in flights, as the busier summer season has ended. Flight/frequency doesn't seen to ramp up again until the holidays, or to a greater extent, the winter/spring travel season.

Who knows their methods. Here in Pittsburgh, they have shifted some SW flights to AirTran, which frees up Southwest planes for elsewhere. Delta is going to take delivery of 3 AirTran 717's a month starting in mid 2013.

Looks like they will release flights on Feb 4, we will see then what they do. Columbus has better flight times going and coming even on the off season it looks. Last year we flew Airtran out of Dayton, had great times, they are all gone now and no new SW flights.

I was told that flights from Dayton to MCO will only be seasonal. If you look now, they are there in March but not May...

They stop flying Dayton in mid April, hope they come back

Me too! We live closer to Dayton and were so hoping to start flying from there and not Columbus!
