Yesterday when I rebooked my fare to take advantage of a DING fare...I screwed up and pushed the wrong button before I had all my information done correctly. :rolleyes1 Instead of having the new fare paid by my cancelled flight I got charged an additional fare on my credit card. MY error.

Called Southwest and they very graciously fixed my error and credited my account (the DINGsavings will go into a ticketless reward to be used on another flight)

Southwest is the ONLY airlines I know that refunds, credits and changes flights ---even if it is the customer's error!! :thumbsup2

Hey, you don't need to sell me! I'm already on board the SW fan club. :thumbsup2

 SWA!!
We have found them to be the most pleasant and accomodating airline! After our last flight (Delta........boooo!!), we vowed to use only SWA in the future (for our destinations, both of them are available).
Aside from SW's Dings, which generally are the lowest fares for us, the biggest difference is in their telephone "customer service"..............Delta usually offers "customer frustration"! :furious:

Maybe other airlines will start to take notice when people stop putting up with their BS. Southwest is the only way I'll fly now.
They don't change their schedules continually making you hop around for a seat of their plane.
They know the meaning of keeping customers and good customer service.

SW is great, but to be fair, with the exception of Priceline, most businesses will let you correct a mistake if you call them promptly. Now trying to get customer service on the phone with some other carriers can be an adventure. Many airlines have an unpublished policy of giving you either 24 hours or until midnight to cancel any reservation. This is a variation of the old policy of allowing you to put a courtesy hold on a reservation.

My only problem is now I have to keep track of all my TTV's I have 4 different ones right now because of the way I had to book my 2 trips and the discounts came through.

Good news is it looks like I will be flying down in June with no extra charges. That might even make a good excuse for a spring trip if a good AP rate comes out.

They really do have great customer service don't they!

I LOVE  Southwest!!!

I did the exact same thing when booking my reservation. I had a credit from a previous flight from a canceled trip and wanted to use it for this Disney vacation. I accidently hit a wrong button and didn't include the credit. Three days later, I discovered it on my credit card statement on-line and nearly had a heart attack! Over $300 instead of $50 for our flight!!! :scared1:

I called Southwest and they said that changes like this usually have to be done within 24 hours. She checked with a supervisor and then approved the change. A refund appeared on my credit card about 10 days later. So VERY grateful for Southwest!! :goodvibes

Love, Love, Love Southwest!

We travel a lot and have to rebook flights more often that we'd like. We only fly SW now. On the rare occasion we've had to book on another airline we can't believe the hassle, and go back whimpering on our next flight to our "home" airline.
