SW opening schedule question

Their site says "We are currently accepting air reservations through April 12, 2013. On October 22, 2012, we will open our schedule for sale through May 31, 2013. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently."

My question is: Do they typically only open up a month and a half at a time? I am looking for flights in early June to/from Reno and want to figure out when they may open the schedule then....

The last couple of years most of June has opened for booking in mid November. See link below for a full list of historical release dates that should give you some idea of what might happen this year.

Does anyone think that Airtran will open up new dates then also? Waiting to use a credit to book flights for May 2013. Thanks!
