SW online checkin strategy?

Leaving tomorrow for WDW and we are taking SW for the 1st time. I want to do my online checkin tonight to try and get "A" boarding passes.

I know I have to be on exactly 24 hours before my flight leaves. Are there any other tips or tricks I should know? For example, have you ever done it with a few windows open, so if the 1st time you try you were a few seconds early, you have a 2nd window ready to go? Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions?

Thanks!!!

As long as you do it as soon as you can, you don't need to worry. I tired a couple of different ways and I always get an A so no need for extra windows.

I always have my confirmation and name entered early so all I have to do is click continue. Also, if there are multiple names under your reservation, just click the one box at the top to select all of your party rather than one at a time. Good luck!

Here's another trick:

If you have your confirmation number, first and last names entered and click too early, you'll get an error message. Look at the bottom right corner of the error message. You'll see Southwest's actual time. That will give you an idea of how close you are to the actual check in time.

Remember, your computer's clock may be significantly different (perhaps five minutes) from SWA server.

That is how I do it too !! I enter all the info about 5 minutes early and then hit continue. If you get the message saying you are too early you know your info is entered correctly and you can just hit the back button and keep trying. I do as the pp and check the time on the SWA clock vs my computer. Then I alternate between continue and back until I get the page to check in.

If you get any other message than your too early then you have a couple minutes to re-enter your information.

:confused3 Is there anywhere in the parks that we could have someone check in for us?

Yes, guest relations at the parks will do it but arrive early in case there is a line. The front desk at the resorts will also do it for you (not RAC) and the swan and dolphin both have a self service kiosk. You can also use a web enabled cellphone or blackberry etc.

I often just have a family member or friend (Trusted!) check me in from home, then I just reprint the BP when I check my bags.

We have checked in from a park, our resort, other resorts. This time we will be at MNSSHP during our 24 hour check in time, so I will have DH check us in from home and print the BP when checking our bags just as tj suggested. :goodvibes

We have 6 traveling in our party. Is there a way to enter all 6 reservation numbers, and get the boarding passes all at once, or do we have to do each one individually?

If everyone has a different confirmation number you have to enter them all separately.
