I noticed that because I have been checking their site all morning, but I still haven't gotten my "Ding" announcement It seems that my Ding's are somewhat delayed lately

I'm waiting for 1/13-1/16 to Tampa...no way am I paying what they're asking right now. Hopefully either a Ding will hit or at least the regular fares will come down. Or else I don't go to Tampa!!!

we're going on a Disney cruise so I'm not crazy about cancelling the trip either! I'm just going to have to take the chance that the rates will come down. Last April ~ the first time I used SW ~ I booked the day they released at something like $520 rt for two people for Labor Day weekend. I panicked and jumped on it because I was afraid it would get worse. Sure enough, SW opened up some sales and Ding's and we got the price down to $210 total for 2 people.

I don't want to book now and then take the credit because I will be using the credits from the last trip. If I book now, then take the credit if/when the sales start, then the credit exp date will revert back to the original exp date (6/07 and 7/07). I don't know if we'll be going back by then and I don't want to let these expire.

Hi, Are you flying out of PVD?? I just got in and checked(of course SWA opened today I have been AWAY from my computer all day!) Anyway, I am looking to fly 2/15-25 and the prices are SO HIGH!! Did they ONLY release the HIGHER prices today,no low fare catagories?? Joan

I need 1/12-19. I am sitting on $403 ticketless funds credit but I am still not wanting to pay the difference. My only concern is my flight down on Fri night of MLK weekend. Maybe I should just book that in case.

that's when we want to leave too. Last month we flew home on Labor Day. I had originally planned on Sunday but a better price came up for Monday. I would have thought Labor Day flights would be sold out, but they weren't. I am hoping MLK weekend doesn't get super busy

Looks like we have about the same dates. I'm looking for Jan. 12th-Jan. 21st. We're also going on a Disney cruise, so our flight times are not too flexible. I'm really disappointed with how high the prices are right now. I have never paid more than $200 for a flight to Orlando. Two years ago we got PVD to MCO for $99 round trip!

I've been waiting forever for Southwest's flight dates to open up for January and in the meantime, prices on the other airlines have only gotten higher. I guess I'll go ahead and book with Southwest and hope that getting a refund if prices come down are as easy as people are saying...

I'm ALMOST tempted to drive now!
