I always forget about the curbside...at our local airport, the lines are shorter inside.![]()
In my experience, that isn't the case at MCO. The curbisde lines are MUCH shorter, at least they have been for me. The system they have for checking luggage at MCO is a little bass-ackwards if you ask me. At least at the SW counter. First you check your luggage at the counter, and then you have to take it over to the xray. At curbside, they handle the whole thing. Well worth the $2 tip per bag.
it's my recollection that swa does not drop you near a swa curbside location, therefore you have to go inside and wait on that horrific line... no?
TDC Nala - When you check in on your cellphone, do you get your boarding group assignment? Or does that only get assigned when you print the actual boarding pass?
You get the boarding group and number assignment (my last one was A 31) when you check in on the cellphone. When you print the pass at the airport, it will have that group/number assignment on it.
You can get the passes printed when you check in your luggage, or at the stand-alone kiosks if you have only carryons.
You can even go online after you use the cellphone to check in and print your pass from a computer. If I can't get to the internet computer in my office at my checkin time, I just do it from my cellphone and print the pass when the computer is available.
