I was hoping for some deals for our December (12-17) trip on SW. The rates are so high now, does anyone know if I have just missed out or could it be a sign that a deal will pop up soon? ( I would be leaving from Raleigh.)

I'm looking for the same---Raleigh to MCO for our trip 12/11-12/14.

Maybe some pixie dust will come our way soon :wizard:

Wishing for some of those $49 sale rates or a good Ding fare :thumbsup2

Me too, we did have the $49 seats until we changed our dates. Now I'm thinking we may have to drive.

I think the airfare prices for December are really high too. About two weeks ago I booked our return flight on 12/5 for $89. I must have been on the computer at the right time because I haven't seen it that low since then. In fact, right now that same flight has been holding steady at $211.

I booked our December SW flights a few months ago. For a while, the prices were jumping all over the place - I changed them 3 times to get lower prices, but the prices have been pretty stable for the last month or two. With the Fall Sale that started yesterday, you might find some falling prices, but the prices here seem pretty stable at this point. I still keep checking back every day or so just to be sure. :surfweb:

We're just going for 3 days with a baby---Mother, daughter, granddaughter trip--so driving is not an option for us. DD can only be gone from work for a few days. If we don't see some better fares, we may have to cancel our December "girls only" trip.

Pixie dust, please :worship: :worship: :worship:

I keep checking every day...sometimes twice day...for Manchester NH to Orlando and they have held at the same prices for a few weeks now. It's driving me crazy!!

We are going 11-19 Dec. The rates seem to be holding right now. If i wait longer do they typically go up?

If you find that the rates go down and change them for the lower price does SW credit you the difference towards this reservation or do you get credit towards another trip? If credit towards a future trip when does it expire?
