SW EBCI-Can I use my Credit??

The answer to this is probably no. I just received a $60 credit on SW for a fare decrease. Can I use this credit to pay for EBCI on my flights?

I don't have personal experience, but I believe I recently read a thread where someone tried to and was not allowed to do so. I think I saw it within the last few days.

No unfortunately you cannot use credits for EBCI. I tried when we used our credit for EBCI on our upcoming August trip and it tells you that you cannot use those funds towards EBCI ...that just means more credit for future trips I guess!!!

I had a travel credit with SW, but when I booked a flight with it, I still had to provide a credit card for the EBCI.
