SW early morning out of Buffalo

I've only flown out of Buffalo via SW in the afternoons. It usually takes a total of 15mins to get from curbside to gate including luggage check and security. What's it like for early morning (7am -8am) flights? How long is the wait for luggage check, how long is the wait for security? The airport website says you only need to be there 90mins prior to flight. Is this cutting it close in the early mornings? Let's presume I have an "A" group boarding pass. What have been your experiences?

On our last trip in October, we flew out early morning and the line-up for security was really long, right out to the main lobby! It took quite a while to get through, and there were a few people who needed to jump ahead of others in order to catch their flight. People were really helpful that way, because the TSA has no sympathy for you, they are doing their job. We ended up with about 20 minutes to spare at the gate, but that's the closest we've ever cut it. We were at the airport 90 minutes ahead, and the sign said the alert level was orange.

We had no problems the last two years when we have gone at March Break - there was check-in outside as well and it was super fast (maybe 5 people ahead of us) and this was with a flight that was overbooked both times.

Flew out at 7am in Oct and the curbside check in was great and fast but the security lines were very long and it was at least 30+ minutes with all the booths open. I would allow the 90 minutes as I would rather be safe than sorry.

I also take the early morning flight (5 times since last May) and we have never waited longer than 10 mins. I always arrive an hour before flight time.

We have not had long lineups the last 2 trips but they were on weekend days (Sat & Sun) I think weekday mornings tend to be much busier with business travellers. I would definitely give yourself at least 90min.

We always fly out in the early morning too and each time we've maybe waited in the security line for about 20 minutes or so BUT we always make sure we have plenty of time.
