SW Dings Xmas Week?

I should have watched last month, but has anyone ever seen Dings for the week of Christmas, not necessarily to Orlando, buy anywhere?

Dings, no. Sale fares, yes, but almost always at odd travel times. We went to Orlando this past Xmas; travelling down on the night of the 20th, and home on Xmas morning. I think we paid $85 for the Wednesday fare, and $73 for the Xmas morning return, plus taxes.

My neighbor got a cheap SW flight for Christmas Eve or Christmas night from Kansas City to DC. I'm not sure if it was a DING, but it was at the last minute.

Some one please tell me what a DING is? LOL Im embarrassed to ask...But I had to know. =)
