SW change of planes ?

We just booked our flight since prices finally dropped a bit for our Aug trip! I have a change of planes in Raleigh. Do I need to get seats 24 hours prior for both flights or just my original flight? Thanks!

We've always had to do both.

You will get both boarding passes 24 hours before the first flight.
