I just printed my boarding passes for tomorrow's flight. (woohoo :woohoo:) All four are on the same reservation and I just clicked "check-in" right down the row and hit "print". Then I noticed something which I thought was odd.

I have boarding pass numbers: A-23, A-24, A-26, A-28. Any ideas what happened to A-25 & 27?

Is there some kind of "boarding procedure" which happens during those numbers?

Most likely other passengers got those numbers. Nothing special happenens during the boarding of those numbers.

Thanks. I've just never had my group split up like that and I was curious.

I've had just two of us split up. I changed places with the person in between us so I could stay with my dd...the other person got to move up a space...so he was happy to make the switch.
It was most likely single people who were checking in at the exact same time.

We have had this happen before, no one cared about the person standing with us. Or we let them go ahead. DS13 is always last alphabectically. We once got the As at the end and he was B1. He was still too young to board by himself. We asked the agent what to do, she said just have him go with us, no big deal. I think if it was more than one person than it would be a problem. But it was just him and he was young, I wanna say he was 9 at the time. If it was an issue with the agent, we would have had DH stay back with him in the top of the Bs.

next time when you list those flying just list your son second between you and your dh that way he will be with one of you

We had that happen a couple of years ago. I think we got 28, 30 and 32 - whatever it was we had the last slot in the first side of the line and DD had the second slot in the second side of the line. I kept her with me and had no problem. We were all on one ressie too so I wasn't sure how someone got in between us.

He is 13 now so he would probably think it is cool to board by himself:lmao:
