Suspects charged in Smart Case

I can't imagine her NOT being more tramatized by having to answer questions which would be needed to get conviction. Right?

My guess would be that they wouldn't have a problem with her testifying in closed court but are setting things up to keep the media OUT of the courtroom.

In the press conference they said they could possibly have her testify on closed circuit TV so she wouldn't have to be in the courtroom, or they could have a closed courtroom. They also said it was unlikely she would be able to escape testifying altogether unless there is a plea bargain.

Ed & Lois are 100% behind the prosecution and will cooperate fully.

Its incredibly sad to hear some of what she had to endure.

Too bad that those who sexually assault children dont get the death penalty... they deserve it.

I think they were charged as sexual preditors. I hope they NEVER see the outside of a jail cell again!

The prosecutor (I think) was asked why they didn't just go for the kidnapping charges and leave out the sexual abuse. He said he wants to make sure they are labeled for what they are, sex abusers, not just religious zealots. Wanda is every bit as heinous as Brian Mitchell IMO.
