Sushi recommendation?

Don't laugh BUT the Sushi at Splitsville in Disney Springs is amazing. Every year we make it a point to go for lunch just for the Sushi.

I had dinner at Splitsville a few years back and was surprised by this as well. They're sushi is delicious and some of the less expensive sushi on property. California Grill also serves us really good sushi as does Kimonos at the Swan, so those are definitely worth checking out. A slightly cheaper but equally as good option would be the Japan pavilion at Epcot. Completely second the Volcano Roll suggestion! My opinion on Kona Island, the sushi bar at the Polynesian, may be unpopular, but I've found the sushi there to be overpriced and not very good, unfortunately.

Kimono's - hands down the best sushi in WDW.

1) Kimono's is arguably the best sushi in WDW.
. . . Orlando Sentinel's (large local newspaper) Critic's Choice for best sushi in Orlando.
. . . the sushi is great, but please avoid the tempura vegetables
2) It is authentic Japanese Sushi.
