Survivor - Vanuatu

gometros, I was wondering this same thing!! Mia seems like a very angry woman. I was glad to see her go.

Glad to see Mia gone. If I were there, I put up with Twila a lot more than I could Mia.

When I saw Rory walking back after finding the oranges, I too wondered why he didn't share his "find" with the rest of the tribe. It made me think that he wasn't going to. It looked like he only did so after being confronted.

I can see why they voted JP off. We shall see if it was the right decision. It would definately be a change if all the younger ones got voted off.

I think the "older" people will have a harder time as they did in shows past. As I said I think it will be a real test for the older folks.

I do think the show kind of knew it would go this way. In shows past most of the "older" people left first. In my opinion there are a lot more "older" people there this time. This is going to be interesting I do have to say. I think all the young ones are going to be gone first then there will be an intersting show lol!

Surprised no one has mentioned this yet- It would have been a tie between Mia and Twila but Lisa voted for Mia. I thought this was interesting because she was originally with the younger girls. I remember her saying something like she had a backup plan. And in the previews for next week one of the younger girls confronts her about it.

As for the older people, in Survivor Thailand, the final 6 were all older.

I was rooting for Chad to get immunity.
me too

And I also think it was a smart move to give the immunity to Amy. I wonder why she, out of all of them, was the least likely. There were some others who seemed pretty safe to me.

Lisa (44) from the "younger" group is actually 9 years older than Leann (35) from the "older" group. Maybe they should call themselves "lazy" and "not lazy" instead.

I am SO glad Mia left. she started to bug me last week when she started showing some serious attitude. Buh-bye.

You know, even the first Survivor, you could argue that 3 of the final 4 were older. Rudy was certainly old, Rich and Sue were both around 40 I believe. I really don't think Sarge, Chris or Rory are any older than 40-45. I would peg Twila around 45 and Scout is in her 60's and although she stinks at some of the challenges, I think she is an emotional stabilizer in the group and that can be very valuable to the other tribe members.

Julia and Nicks Mom -

QUOTE I am anxious to see it this season - one of my brother's friend's ex-girlfriend is Mia -

I saw an interview with her and their breakup seems to be the catalyst for her to go on!!

But he tells us they are getting back together - who knows!! UNQUOTE.

In light of above - did anyone see Mia on CBS Morning Show this morning? What was Harry talking about when he said to JP and Mia - "We almost had another Rob and Amber" with you????
She replied something like, "ya, it just didn't work out" And then they touched each other's hands and laughed nervously.
Huh?

Julie and Nicks Mom - do you know anything about that???

Frankly I'm glad to see the "hot lazy chicks" getting the boot early. And the guys have sense enough to boot the strong guys early too. I didn't catch survivor on Thursday and will catch it tomorrow but I think starting with single immunity early is a good idea. I probably would have done it differently...one tribe still wins immunity but one individual can win it too...maybe during a reward challenge. That would give the players the opportunity to either compete to protect themselves or compete for the team.

Yzma and Kronk, I saw the early show this morning and I think Harry said "You two were supposed to be the next Rob and Amber". I don't know where that thought even came about, but I thought that when they said it didn't work out, it was because they got voted off early and were never in a tribe together. Mia was still very angry on the show today. I started wondering last night if they will bring back voted off players like they did in Pearl Islands.

I think I saw that show. You could really tell what snobs they are in real life. I wanted to just slap JP, when he was asked who he would like to see win. He said that he didn't care as long as it wasn't one of the "Fat Five" on the men's tribe. As if being over weight you don't deserve anything in life. Can you belive that. What a JERK! And she still did not impress me, you could just tell that what we saw on the show is how she really is in life. I feel sorry for any man you marries her in the future.

I think that it was a stroke of genius that John gave his immunity to someone who had no chance of being voted out. Way to defuse a potentially ugly situation for him once the merge takes place.
Absolutely brilliant. No female enemies if he makes it to the merge (which is unlikely) with Sarge in Charge.

Twigs:
I hope they don't do what they did on the Peral Islands show and bring back voted out members. Because I can see Mia coming back. And she is one Angry Women, could be hell to pay for ALL.

Ohhhhh.......that makes sense. See what happens when you are multi-tasking. I admit I wasn't totally listening, therefore my reaction was
It's funny on all the other Survivors they had a few stand-out contestants. I don't see any here. I guess maybe Sarge. I kinda like Twila (Sue Hawk and more!) - but I'm sure she won't last.

Mom2Ashli I hope they don't do that again either. I wouldn't want to see Mia in that position, you are right they would all pay, she is one angry person.

I don't know if angry is the correct word for Mia, I think she's past that. I feel bad for the guy that marries her. I think she is someone who likes confrontation. I think she was mainly trying to get Twila voted off but got herself voted off instead.

I think Chad is my favorite for winner right now.

Still 5 openings on my Fantasy League

Thanks for the link to this thread Grog!

Too much to read to catch up. I'll start with this week's episode.

Smileybrat! I joined your tribe and see Chess is also a member. I think we were all on a tribe together before. And TxJasmine! How nice to be on a tribe with people I "know"! (Sorta, kinda, ya know what I mean! LOL!)

I wonder who the surprise visitor is going to be that they were advertising about last night.

From what I saw last night on one of the ads it looks like a man from the native tribe of the island. It looks like he will be having some nightime fun at their expence.

Wow, with Mia gone I wonder who will fight with Twilla now?

Or maybe the big fights will be on the guys side tonight.

Only time will soon tell what will happen next on Survivor.
