Survivor - Vanuatu

Well, I saw a commercial tonight and from the sound of it this is what will happen.

There will be a compotion, but only one person will win immunity. They both tribes will be going to TC and vote out one person each.

Now this is what I get from the AD I have now idea if this is how it will happen.

I saw a commercial last night (9/29).....it definately said "one person will win immunity" and 2 tribal councils.....2 people going home....and then that girl (Eliza??) says "Noooo" in a real whiny voice......so, guess tonight will be VERY interesting..............:scratchin

:bounce: back to page 1

Decent show this evening. I'll give the west coasters time to see it before I post any impressions other than that.

All I gotta say is, if they boys keep voting this way, there will be no more hot guys left in Vanuatu

yes and for the first time there will be all old people who don't do much! lol Twila tried to make it seem like she was doing everything and as one person there said she played that card and it worked. Now how long will people actually put up with the attitude I dunno.

The mens group is the same way the guy that couldn't cross is still there and all the young bucks who could do anything are gone.

I wonder if Survivor wanted it to go this way to try to gear it to an older audience. Soon all the young veril (sp?) people will be gone and it will be a real test of survival for the older folks.

I was happy with the way the women voted. I had my fill of Mia, because she was the one really starting alot of the arguments that where going on in that camp. Twila, never said she was doing it all by her self, and she never said they never did anything. But she had a point. When you don't have shelter, good drinking water or fire the last thing you do is go swimming.

Now as for the guys I think it was a bad move. Not that I liked JP. If anything I think I would be scared of him if I was to meet him. There was just something about him that did not give off a good vibe. It was all there in his eyes, very scary. But Rorey really should have been the one to go. He confrentational and whiny and he really needs to get a grip. Here are the guys all working together to work on the shelter and he is off picking fruit. Yes finding the fruit tree was good, but it could have been found later or just as soon as he walked in to that camp he should have let everyone know what he found. Instead he waited until Sarg started arguing with him to say "Hey, this is what I was doing." While showing the orange (I think that is what it was), just bad show if you ask me.

It will be intresting to see how the girls act now that Mia is gone. And I thought the preview was kinda' funny, with the one guy going fishing and coming back with that one little fish. I am looking forward to next weeks show.

Good grief, if that Mia chick rolled her eyes and shook her head one more time, I would have reached through the tv and smacked her. She grated on my nerves so badly.. if I were in this game I would have voted her out and then brought her back in the game just so I could vote her out again. Spoiled brat.

I'm really not that thrilled with this season so far. It just seems to be the same old stuff and I really don't find any of the people interesting. The women are all so catty and if they don't watch it, they're going to self-destruct. They've got about 4 weeks to make something happen or I'm just going to watch The OC when it starts back up.

Me too! I couldn't stand to look at her after a while!!

So you don't think the 'old people' can survive without the 'young' people?

I couldn't agree more. I was so glad to see her go. Of course even in her closing statement it was all about her being wronged. She's blind to her own faults.

I agree as well. BYE BYE MIA! She couldn't even sit still during tribal council. She kept swaying from side to side and rolling her head and eyes. She is definitely a troublemaker that won't be missed.

I thought the part where one of the women was telling Twila she should be asking them to braid her hair was funny. Her response cracked me up "sure, we can start with the hair and you could do my nails too". It is so un-Twila-like.

I feel like I'm having a hard tie getting to know the guys other than Rory and Sarge. Those are the ones they show more than anything else. The rest are kind of hard to tell apart.

I was sooo glad to see Mia hit the pavement. I agree with the rest. I could not stand to see her roll her eyes one more time. And what was up with her shaking her head everytime she heard her name being called. Than I loved Eliza face when she heard the final. It was Classic.

Mia annoyed me, so I was glad to see her go. She was the "cancer" of the group. I thought it was hilarious when John came to their camp and Eliza keep talking and talking and talking. I would keep her around for awhile though because she is so irritating. That way, if there is a merge, the guys will go after her first since she is so grating on everyones nerves. That will give the girls more time to form strong alliances.

One other question, what was up with mia never showing her hair?

I liked the way John divided the women into the 2 groups.

Survivor needs to get new challenges. Have they run out of creativity or what?

I was rooting for Chad to get immunity.

Eliza needs to go next. She is so annoying!

I felt the same way when they voted off (Barbie) Dolly. ::yes::

I think that it was a stroke of genius that John gave his immunity to someone who had no chance of being voted out. Way to defuse a potentially ugly situation for him once the merge takes place.

It was smart of him to give immunity to one of the "safe" women. Why get yourself involved in a war between the other tribe? It's much safer and smarter to stay out of it.

I also think it's funny that when he divided the women's tribe into Dolly-voters and non-Dolly-voters, many of the women (most notably, Mia) thought it was a stupid, pointless idea. When he told the men about it, they thought it was genius. Just goes to show you the mindset of each tribe.

One thing that has been confusing me: it seems to me that anytime the women lose a challenge, Scout is a big reason why. She didn't really help during the obstacle course (although they won) and completely blew the puzzle competition. In this episode, Jeff kept calling her out because the couldn't manage using the gappling hook. Why doesn't anyone want to vote her out? She seems to be more of a liability than anyone else. She's the type that everyone seems to like, so when she completely coasts through, she'll have an excellent chance of winning.

Strawberry:
I was wondering the same thing. Scout is a bigger liability than Twilla, not matter how you feel about her. Scout has basically cost them the last two competitions. The girls were winning the puzzle one until she realized that they still needed that one piece. And instead of her looking out in the water when it was questioned she was no there isn't anymore in the water.

And nobody has even brought that up at any time. At least that they are showing us.

I've been saying the same thing each and every week - why don't the girls get rid of Scout? Yes, you want to get rid of the ones who are annoying (Mia) and flip-flopping (Dolly), but you've got to win some challenges, and Scout is usually why they lose! Yet nobody ever talks about why they lost, and you never see Scout apologize for blowing it (at least they're not showing us). If they can put up with Eliza and her motor mouth, they can put up with Dolly or Mia for a few more days and get rid of the person (Scout) causing them to lose the challenges!

I feel bad JP got voted out - he was a cutie!! I would have liked to see Rory go - he's keeping to himself way too much. Like somebody else posted above, as soon as Rory got back from his walk, he should have showed everybody the oranges so they knew he was out looking for food while they built the shelter. But he kept the oranges to himself until Sarge called him on his lack of participation.

I am anxious to see it this season - one of my brother's friend's ex-girlfriend is Mia -

I saw an interview with her and their breakup seems to be the catalyst for her to go on!!

But he tells us they are getting back together - who knows!!

Anyway - he does not know how far she went - but he said she lost a lot of weight (27 lbs) - this doesn't sound like someone who lost the first week out -

with that said - he has always been a bit of a storyteller - so who knows (she really is his ex though - my brother has met her!!!)

I thought I remembered this post and went back to look for it. I'm curious to know from your brother if Mia is as much a PITA as she seems to be on the show.
