Survivor Thailand! (Possible Spoilers)

Hi Mom2EM!!! S'matter of fact, made those noodles this very evening!! :D

Would love to check out the CBS Website after 12:30 to check on this Fantasy Team thing that I signed up for last week. Not totally sure how it works but my niece also emailed me today and had me join her private tribe! Curious as to whether any members of my tribe got any points. Another thing to occupy my time with when I should be doing other things. Well, I can't stay up that late, unfortunately so I will check it tomorrow.

Has anyone else join the Fantasy Tribe thing at CBS?

HEY! We should have our own Dis-Tribe in the Fantasy tribe thing!!! What do you guys think about that? (but I'll catch your answers tomorrow along with anyone else may post during the day tomorrow). Goodnight.

I thought Brian was joking too - he had that "I'm saying something outrageous" gleam in his eye. Even if he partially believed it, he still thought it was outrageous. I think Helen made the right move. Maybe the tribe can pull together a bit. Clay should be the next to go, then Jan IMO. Helen, Ted, and Brian would be really strong.

I thought they were implying something happens to Helen, since they said that followed by quick shots of all the other tribe members but her.

I think there's actually hope for Sook Jai now that they got their bananas. I think if Stephanie is less cranky they might be able to function as a team. Watching her insist on being some kind of martyr is getting old - I think she thinks she's a actually helping.

I have a question. Wasn't there supposed to be
a "secret food reward back at camp" for the
reward challenge winners? This was in addition
to the banannas, eh. It was never mentioned.
Did they just skip it?
For the record, I'm sure Brian had tongue in
cheek during his "woman in their place"
speech. I think he's funny and enjoying watching
the drama play out. Now that Ghandia's gone,
I have no doubt that the men will stop being
such slackers. They moved away naturally to
check in with each other while the women
surrounded Ghandia in her "need". Glad she's
gone. She has issues and needed to go away.
My dream team of the last 4?
Brian,
the NYC cop(don't know his name yet)
Shi ann
Helen
All strong, all reasonably calm, all good workers

The extra food reward was the chickens.... 2 or 3 of them that they hope will lay eggs.

Bye Bye Ghandia..... what a whack job... I won't miss her!!

I'm also glad Ghandai was voted off - once she accepted Ted's appology that should of been the end of it, she shouldn't of gone behind his back and continued the issue.

I also thought Brian's comments were said in fun and not serious.

I didn't get the impression that they lost the boat because I thought I saw in the previews that someone did get "pulled" under water.

Robb doesn't seem as bad as he did in the beginning, does he? I thought I saw him hug Shi Ann after they won the challenge.

And he seemed especially thankful for the bananas. Robb took the time to say grace before eating them. I definitely think that Brian will make it to the final four. He seems to just fly under the radar....you hardly ever see him making a scene...last night's episode was an exception.

RoutemanDan....I wanted to join the DIS Survivors tribe, but can't do it without the password.

I'm thinking that the injured person probably steps on something sharp/boney/spiney - their automatic reaction would be to bend down and hold/touch/rub their foot.
I whooped and yelled in victory when Ghandia was voted off. She instigated the separation in her tribe (lovely that she admitted that in her exit interview) and she was nothing but trouble and drama. They didn't need that - it would've made tribal life in Chewing Gum miserable for everyone.
What was up with Stephanie doing all the work on the dummy? Sook Jai were physically stronger, thus they won the reward challenge. I hope, the way they were scarfing down all those bananas, that they had terrible diarrhea that evening! I am glad that they won the immunity challenge - Chewing Gum needed to "clean house."
My immediate thought when I saw the previews for next week was, "someone gets to change tribes" or some situation to that extent. We'll see....

I just got finished watching Ghandia on the Early Show. She admitted that she embellished (her word) her version of the "incident" when she told it to the other tribe members. I wonder what Helen thinks of that since she totally believed Ghandia. She also admitted deliberately leaving out the part about the apology to make her story "sound better" since she was telling it for strategic purposes. She then said that she was insincere when she accepted the apology, but did it as a quick cure for the problem.

I am so glad it all backfired on her.....

I would like to know what the heck is up her (Stephanie) butt. Other tribe members have indicated that she thinks she does ALL the work around there. I remember her sitting around and doing nothing when the shelter was being made. Her attitude really surprises me because she is a firefighter and in that profession, your life could depend on your fellow co-workers, she is a part of a team at work so I can't figure out why she is not a team player.

A woman's point of view regarding Brian's comments. He is a bit actor. He will say and do anything to get his share of comments on the T.V. Don't get me wrong, I like the guy!

I'm with all of you, Ghandia is gone and I feel like Ted, I hope I never have to see her again! I have a feeling it will be the topic of conversation on the last show, making everyone uncomfortable again.

I have to agree with others who are glad Ghandia is gone, I just could not stand her....IMHO it was SHE who was more "in the wrong" than Ted. If she didn't like spooning with him, she should have gotten up and moved to the other side of the shelter. She ALLOWED him to do what he did, and then had the nerve to put all of the blame on HIM!! Ridiculous!! I have to wonder what her HUSBAND thought of it all, when he saw the show!!! I definitely believe Ted when he said he was half-asleep, and thinking she was his wife. Some people sleep really deeply and become disoriented. I hope Ted makes it to the "final four."

Is it just me, or are some of the "challenges" boring this time? It seems like they've had a lot of "puzzles" to solve already. Last night's episode, to me, was rather boring. I hope next week's show is better!!

WOO HOO!! Ghandia is gone, Ghandia is gone!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I think the Chewing Gum tribe will be much better off without her!!

I agree, the challenges are pretty boring this time around. Hope they get better soon.

Wow! I caught Ghandia on the Early Show and almost didn't recognize her. I thought she looked really good but I'm still glad she got voted off. I hope Brian goes soon. I would really hate to see that admitted porn actor make it to the finals. I'm surprised he hasn't gloated about it yet!!

I caught the Early Show also. Ghandia admitted to "playing up" to Ted hoping that he could carry her. Basically, she led him on on purpose and it backfired on her. She also said that things were a little "tense" around her house but that she has an understanding husband.

I have an "understanding" husband also, but I don't think that he would be so "understanding" if he found out that I had used sex to get me something or somewhere.

Ghandia deserved what she got as far as I'm concerned.

She also said that you either play the game or it plays you. She got played.

I had to laugh at Tribal Council when Jeff was reading the votes and had no idea who the Denver Diva was ... and then told Clay to stick to names and forget the nickname stuff ..... I'm glad Ghandia is gone but I'm ready for Clay to take a walk too !!

YIPPEE!! Ghandia is gone! Now if we can just get rid of Robb on the other team.......

I agree that the previews for next week look like someone on Sook Jai gets hurt - probably a sting ray or something. And it also looks like Jeff gives them 60 seconds to decide if they want to change teams. I'm hoping Shii Ann decides to leave those lazy bums on Sook Jai and head over to Chuay Gon. Maybe then Shii Ann will decide to show her smarts.

If next week show is about switching teams...do you think that defection might be frowned upon when the teams merge? I could see where it might not be a good move strategically for anyone. Thoughts, please.....

That's a good point. If Shii Ann (for example) switches, the old Sook Jai people might try to vote her off first after a merge just for spite.

and then told Clay to stick to names and forget the nickname stuff

Haven't people voted in the past with nicknames, or cities instead of names? maybe I am mistaken. Jeff might have just done that since he knew Clay was calling her the Denver Diva out of spite. If Chuay Gon loses another challenge, Clay is probably gone.

I don't think Clay will be gone. I think the men will stick together and vote the women off, unless they do a merge of tribes.

And, YES!! Thank Goodness Ghandia is gone! I saw right through her.

There isn't anyone particular that I like, just more people that I don't care for or care to watch. I hope they start zeroing in on some interesting people soon. And, make the challenges alot more....well, challenging! lol
