Can you specify which scumbag please? My DVR messed up and only recorded the first 30 mins.

My DVR did the same thing...it actually did record Survivor but then playing it back, it was all frozen then not, then frozen then not.... DH & I could not watch it at all.

Please someone recap for me.......

Did they ever say anything on the show about having only one combined challenge for both reward and immunity? I never heard it if they did. The challenges are the best part, I wish they would go back to 2.

We were just talking about that last night. I hate the way we have to listen to them whine for 50 minutes of the show.

I agree. It was the first "smart" thing he has done. To push otherwise would have really alerted the others to his true self.

Interesting episode last night. While I don't like Russell, it was nice to see Foa Foa finally win an immunity challenge. If they didn't have Jaison and his height, they might not have won!

I agree with Galu's decision to get rid of Yasmin, although I could see why some of them wanted to get rid of Monica - it was the first challenge they lost and she was slow. But it's not ALL about challenges; overall (at least from what they've shown us), Monica does more around camp and she hasn't done too badly in the other challenges. Everybody has things they're just not that great at, and maybe walking across a rope isn't her thing.

(Side note: I'll bet once Foa Foa sees that Galu got rid of Yasmin, they'll be very happy that they won't have to deal with her again after the merge!)

Oops, posted my reply before I was finished!

Anyway, some interesting things I noticed last night:

Why wasn't Jeff at the reward challenge - the bocce ball thing? Must be a reason.

Jeff didn't mention the hidden immunity idol when Galu was at tribal council. Wonder why? Both Yasmin and Shambo received clues, so one of them could have possession of an idol. What kind of twist is this? If Yasmin had an idol, would she have been able to play it last night and save herself? As far as I know, neither of the clues said anything that each tribe's idol is at the other tribe's camp.

And when Galu lost the immunity challenge, Foa Foa didn't get to send a member to Galu's camp. Wonder why? I'm sure they were wondering, too, since they had to deal with Galu members visiting their camp. Again, Jeff didn't say anything. Was it because they had separate reward and immunity challenges last night, rather than being combined into one?

Did you see the previews - next week is the gross food challenge. They haven't done that for a couple of seasons. Yuk! (I almost wish Yasmin was still around - she'd be hilarious during the food challenge.)

Personally - I am glad Yasmine is gone. After her ripping in to the other tribe when she visited them...she "earned" her early dismissal.
