~ SURVIVOR Samoa ~ Season 19 ~

Is anyone else getting tired of Shambo? I liked her at first and even though I wanted Laura to go I just hate it when people act like she did tonight when she laughed out loud when Laura didn't have a chance at immunity.

Looks like Russell is up to his old tricks again based on the previews and lets a chicken go.

Russell is always up to stupid tricks, I can't stand this man. I know everyone seems to love him. I can't stand him. It looks like next week Jaison flips to the other side:cool1::cool1:

Does anyone know if there is a new Survivor on Thanksgiving? Or are they going to do one of those stupid "re-cap" episodes?
I think they show new episodes on Thanksgiving...it's been done in the past so we'll see.

I enjoyed this one too!

I thought for the previews last night they said 'in two weeks' but I'm not positive.

Another one against Russell.

I will give him that he has outwitted everybody and deserves the outwit award hands down.

The emptying of the canteen thing lost it for him with me. There's being rude, mean sneaky and a liar, but causing someone to potentially lose their life? Never Never Never will I find that acceptable, not even in survivor.

Kudos to Russell for also finding the Idol 3 times in a row. He may be a doo doo head but he's no dummy.

I'm a fan of Shambo and John. I hope one of them win the whole darn thing.

Well, I am beginning to dislike Shambo; I simply hated her 'horse laugh' when Laura missed the target with her rock.

Russell: pretty awesome. As for the 'sneak preview' for next episode showing him releasing the chickens: I wonder if he is doing that to get the tribe to turn against Shambo (since I guess she is still the 'keeper of the chickens').

I don't remember him doing anything like that. What are you referring to? :confused3

I could not stand Russell at the beginning of the season, and I really liked Shambo. My opinions are now the exact opposite. Russell is playing the most brilliant game since Richard Hatch. Shambo has increasingly grated on me. She seems to think that she is much smarter than she really is. Although, the real "rocket scientist" this season has to be Dave. It is rare that we get to see a player that is so incredibly dumb, but thinks he is so brilliant. The expressions on his face at tribal council after each week's blindsides are priceless. At this point, I see nothing that will prevent Russell from walking into the finals and winning the grand prize. He has really become one of the more enjoyable players to watch.

In last night's "next week," they showed Russell turning the latch on the chicken coop, saying "time to create some chaos, bye bye chickens!".

I think she is referring to the dumping out the canteens, tearing up there socks

These are hardly putting lives in jeopardy.

I think he has been one of the greatest players of all-time. Unfortunately, they rarely win.

No kidding! I was in awe that Dave was looking under the correct rock and Russell was able to lead him away......."Hey, Dave, let's run" Dave: OK---DUH!!!:headache: What an idiot!

It would be good to see someone playing the game so well win for a change.

Since the All Star season was filmed before this Survivor aired, can you imagine those people watching this season's shows. It probably explains a lot about what went on in their camps. I can't wait to see how Russell interacts with all of them.

I hope that letting the chicken loose isn't Russells downfall. It showed everyone asleep while he was unlocking the cage but someone could have been awake. I don't think that he actually opened the door, just unlocked it. But we shall see.....

I hope there is a new Survivor on Thanksgiving but I didn't see any previews for the next episode.

Great episode.

A new episode is coming on next Thursday, I just checked the online zap2it guide. This season keeps getting more and more interesting. I think that next week will be fairly routine. I am pretty sure Monica will be going home next week because Jaison and everyone else was agreeing with Shambo. I think Shambo wants Monica gone because she is the next closest thing to Laura in her eyes.

The week after next will be when it gets interesting. Assuming another Galu member is voted out, if Jaison, Mick, and Natalie are smart, they will blind side Russel. They will have numbers and will no longer need the good play of Russel to keep them in the game. Also, if they are smart, they will realize that Russel is a serious threat to their survival now that their tribe has numbers. Just speculation ...

I wouldn't be shocked if Russel finds his way into the final 2. He is playing the edgiest gameplay I have seen by any Survivor participant. Just when you think he's gone, he finds a way out of it. It will definitely take a blind side to get rid of Russel and two weeks from now is the perfect time to execute it. If Monica is kicked off next week, Jaison, Mick, and Natalie can team up with John, Dave, and the other Galue guy (forget his name) to oust Russel. The shouldn't let Shambo know because she is Mrs. loose lips. Meanwhile, they can pretend like they are kicking off Dave or John. This is all assuming Russel doesn't win immunity on that week of play.

As far as blindsiding Russell, that's easier said than done. He probably has the most street smarts of any player ever in Survivor and it will be extremely difficult to pull one over on him. Not to mention that Nat and Russ are very close and have been since the beginning. Jaison and Mick would have to approach remaining Galu members about taking him out.

And don't forget that Russell still has the Idol and is not scared about using it since he'll just find it again once they put it back in play.

I was going to defend Shambo and say a lot of people are underestimating her, but that laugh was a bit immature. I don't care how poorly she was treated.

Wow, that was a great episode!

I always enjoy watching the psychology of the game. Brett and co. were awfully cavalier about putting John up as a shield. I knew John would switch at the second vote--why wouldn't he? They told him where he stood. I was also glad that FFF (the Foa-Foa-Four) didn't make a deal with Monica--she needs to go.

The hunt for the immunity idol was a hoot and a half. I think Russell is just really clever--he saw the rock on the video, and accurately described it to Jaison--size, color--so I dont' think he got help form the production crew. He also had a good idea as to what part of camp it was in, based on the video. SO, jsut smart thining, IMO.

Brett? I didn't even know who he was before last night's show. It's the first time (I think) that he got any decent air time.

Russell must have been a great hide and seek player when he was a kid :lmao:

The thing about Russell and the immunity idol is that he isn't afraid to use it as opposed to a few past seasons where someone would get blind sided with the idol in his pocket.

When he emptied the water canteens. Dehydration happens quickly in those types of conditions. In previous Seasons we've seen contestants get dehydrated..pretty scary stuff. They can just go refill their canteen in theory, but in those tropical conditions being without water even for a minute is really a terrible idea. What if something had happened to their watering hole? Crazy stuff happens on survivor all the time. I just think it was potentially playing with someone's life to empty canteens. There were plenty of other ways to stir up trouble in camp. You don't need to go to the option of messing with someone's health. IMHO

What a great show last night. I was so glad to see Laura go home. And their faces were priceless. I loved it!!

And Erik is over there just having a ball. :lmao:
